Episode 10 - Shamanism and other paths

Fancy a worldwide revolution of spirit?

Meet Martin Pollecoff. In the 70's he sold enlightenment for £169. We talk about the myth of Castaneda, the secret of happiness and how enlightenment can get you laid, but might not make you happy.

There has been a bit of a gap between this podcast and the last. I had never planned on a weekly release but the way things are going I may have to think about a monthly.. :) I have been moving my office and computer from room to room as the electrics and plumbing in my house get re-vamped. Chaos. Still here we are. Please leave a comment so i know you are still out there...

Hey!
I have been waiting for the next instalment.. Where have you been? ;o)

Wow Christian thanks for that one. Where do you find these people? That was facinating. I knew nothing about shaman's before today but can't go and read a book as I really feel I should take Martin's words seriously. It makes sense really. These things need to be practised.
Thanks.

I would liked to have heard a little more about good and evil spirits as I feel the Shaman is a conduit to the spirit realm. I enjoyed the podcast all the same and understand it may be a subject too big for a half an hour slot.

Hi Guys, Thanks for all the comments!
Where shall I start..?

Mags.. Hi, sorry for the lapse in podcast publishing.. My computer has been in and out of boxes as the house is fixed up and I still can't afford a new mac book pro..
Feel free to click the donate button and send me £1,931.92 and I promise to be online more often.. :)

Thanks Tony, Pete and Anton.

And Robert.. Yes you are right, time is limited as I don't want the file sizes to get crazy. Also whether it is a good or a bad thing I tend not to do any preperation. Normally because the interviews happen on the fly and I kind of like to learn as we chat and record. That way it keeps things informal and hopefully relaxed. This of course means the interview can go anywhere or knowhere. Thanks for listening.

Thanx for this. will you be interviewing a full on shaman at any point?

Excellent show!

Martin Pollecoff confounded a lot of my expectations of a Westerner performing shamanism. And it soulds like he counfounded a lot of your expectations as well. Martin strips away a lot of the bullshit and provides a very practical and realistic view of shamanism, enlightenment and those who seek enlightenment.
